Sheesley & Associates, LLC., a Certified WBE, and a Registered PennDOT Business Partner is pleased to announce Matthew Boone has been hired as the new Chief of Surveys. Headquartered in Indiana PA, with a recently opened office in Pittsburgh, the firm’s services include civil engineering, environmental design services and surveying for both residential and commercial projects.
Matthew Boone, a military veteran and the newest member of the Sheesley team began his surveying career as a field crew member. Bringing his military training and leadership skills, he progressed throughout the years to managing field crews with surveying operations. Being extensively trained on various surveying equipment, Boone brings a solid understanding of Trimble GPS equipment, ALTA/NSP Surveys, AutoCad and Civil 3D software. He has produced the creation of condominiums, boundary surveys and major/minor subdivisions. As a manager, he has directed survey teams with numerous projects including gas pad and pipeline location and stakeout, boundary location and construction stakeout for both residential and commercial projects.
Boone stays current on governmental procedures and laws on boundary and route surveying and is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors.
